It has also emerged as the biggest Hollywood film of 2026 in India, surpassing the sleeper hit Obsession. However, this record will last only for a week, as the juggernaut Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives next week.
The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan’s second film after Oppenheimer to join the Rs. 100 crore club in India. Reportedly, India ranks among the film’s top six international markets worldwide, alongside the UK, France, Italy, Australia, and Germany.
Nolan gave utmost importance to Indian audiences by visiting the country and promoting the epic fantasy action drama, and moviegoers are now lapping it up. The Odyssey is tracking for a phenomenal second weekend.
