The latest phenomenon, The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan, is doing fantastic business even on weekdays after a superb opening weekend. Driven by glowing word of mouth and strong critical acclaim, the epic action fantasy drama is earning huge bucks at the Indian box office.
So far, The Odyssey has earned Rs. 80 crores nett and is set to close its first week at around Rs. 85-86 crores nett. This is higher than many Indian titles, and the second weekend is expected to witness massive jumps once again.
IMAX and other premium formats are driving the collections, as expected. The movie stars Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and Himesh Patel in crucial roles.
