Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is the director’s biggest worldwide opener, with its opening weekend collections of $264 million surpassing The Dark Knight Rises. The film exceeded all industry projections and is now set for a monstrous theatrical run.

In another remarkable achievement, all shows at London’s prestigious BFI IMAX (IMAX 70mm) have been sold out until September 10. Yes, you read that right. Nolan’s epic fantasy action drama has sold out every show for the next two months at this iconic venue, reiterating the phenomenal craze surrounding the film.

Reportedly, moviegoers have been travelling from other countries to watch The Odyssey at BFI IMAX, one of the very few theatres in the world capable of presenting the film the way Christopher Nolan intended. The Odyssey has also emerged as the biggest opener in the theatre’s history, surpassing Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
