The censor certificate for Nani’s The Paradise was handed over today after the team complied with 21 changes suggested by the CBFC. The changes include modifications to visuals depicting violence, muting cuss words, deleting a few dialogues, removing the foul-word tattoo from the protagonist’s hand, and inserting statutory warnings.
The censor board’s changes have sparked discussions on social media, with some netizens expressing their disappointment. The final runtime is locked at 174 minutes (2 hours and 54 minutes), and the film has been passed with an A certificate.
Initially, the director planned a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes, but following the suggested modifications, the duration increased slightly. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the movie is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner.
