Nani’s The Paradise crossed the Rs. 155 crore mark in worldwide gross with its opening weekend, an impressive figure considering the mixed talk surrounding the film. The Srikanth Odela actioner has now entered its crucial weekday phase, with Monday marking the first major test of its sustainability.
According to the PR numbers, The Paradise added close to Rs. 10 crore on Monday, taking its worldwide gross to around Rs. 165 crore. For a Monday, the hold is encouraging considering the divided response to the film, although the real test will be how well it sustains through the rest of the weekdays.
With the first weekend behind it, the film will be looking to build further on this momentum. How much The Paradise can add to its tally over the coming days will be closely watched by the trade.
