Nani and Srikanth Odela’s second collaboration The Paradise has completed five days at the box office, and the film has come through its crucial Monday test on a positive note. The film added around Rs. 10 crore gross on Monday and the total is close to Rs. 165 crore mark worldwide.
The Monday numbers are particularly encouraging given the mixed word of mouth. More than 113K tickets were sold for the film on BookMyShow and District combined in the last 24 hours, indicating that the film continues to find traction even after the opening weekend.
With the Monday hold looking healthier, The Paradise has cleared its first major weekday test. The focus now shifts to the rest of the week, with the trade closely watching whether the film can maintain this momentum.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the biggie stars Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, while Mohan Babu plays the antagonist. Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and others appear in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.
