Prabhas’ next theatrical release, The Raja Saab, is a horror-fantasy entertainer directed by Maruthi. The film is slated to hit the big screens on January 9, 2026, with paid premieres planned for January 8. In an interview, Maruthi revealed that The Raja Saab has raw footage running over four hours.

“For big films, we usually take more shots. Apart from the three-hour film that will be seen in theatres, I have another hour of footage with me. But we cannot accommodate every scene and had to let go of a few portions. Even the removed scenes are fantastic,” said Maruthi.

The director added, “Prabhas garu wants everything in a detailed manner. I learnt a lot while working on The Raja Saab. The film changed the way I think. My movies after The Raja Saab will be more mature. Working on this film was similar to earning a degree from a university.”
