The Andhra Pradesh government has issued a new G.O. permitting ticket rate hikes for Prabhas’ Sankranthi release, The Raja Saab. The horror fantasy entertainer, directed by Maruthi, will have paid premiere shows tomorrow, and the AP government has allowed the makers to fix ticket rates at Rs. 1000/- for these special shows.
As per the latest update, ticket rates for regular shows starting from January 9 have been increased by Rs. 150/- in single screens and Rs. 200/- in multiplexes. This means the ticket fare for The Raja Saab will be Rs. 297/- in single screens and Rs. 377/- in multiplexes for the first ten days in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, the makers have been permitted to screen five shows per day.
