The Raja Saab & MSG Telangana ticket rate hikes: A positive development unfolds

A few days ago, a single-bench judge of the Telangana High Court suspended the orders issued by the Telangana Government regarding ticket rate hikes for Akhanda 2. A similar situation occurred for a few other Tollywood films as well, including Game Changer, OG, and Pushpa 2.

In light of this, the makers of the Sankranthi releases, The Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, approached the High Court first seeking permission for ticket rate hikes and premiere shows. The court has responded positively and clarified that the earlier orders apply only to films released in the past.

With this clarification, the legal hurdles have been cleared for both big-ticket films. It is now up to the government to consider the ticket hike and premiere show requests submitted by the makers. The teams of both films are hopeful of a favorable response, with an official G.O. expected to be issued soon. Keep watching this space for the latest updates.
