Nari Nari Naduma Murari emerged as the biggest hits among this year’s Sankranthi releases. Audiences loved the film in theaters, and it also performed reasonably well on OTT. However, Sharwanand’s family drama failed badly during its television premiere.
The movie recently premiered on ETV Win, and the TRP ratings were shockingly low. It recorded just 1.59 in urban markets and 1.30 in the urban+rural category, which are extremely poor numbers.
Interestingly, The Raja Saab, which premiered on Star Maa on the same day, posted better ratings with 5.02 in urban markets and 4.40 in the urban+rural category.
Although The Raja Saab received heavy criticism during its theatrical run, its television performance turned out to be comparatively better. It is clear that star power helped boost its ratings, even if the numbers are still underwhelming for a star-driven film. However, the poor TRP performance of Nari Nari Naduma Murari remains surprising considering its super hit status.
