For the few years, there has been a trend of using remix of popular songs from yesteryears in Telugu films. Recently, Rachcha had a remix of Vana Vana Velluvaya and there are plenty of other examples too. Neelima Thirumalsetty who’s producing A Shyam Gopal Varma Film under Sangamithra Arts banner has revealed that the film will have the remix of Theesko Coca Cola. The original song is from a 1971 film titled Rowdilaku Rowdilu starring Ramakrishna and Vijayalalitha. L Eshwari had sung this song which went on to be a rage and Satyam had composed the tune. Confirming the news, Neelima posted on Twitter, “A remix of classic L.R.Eswari gari song ‘Esko Coca-cola’ in our A Shyam Gopal Verma Film. The FUNK is back!!!!!!” Mantra Anand is composing the tunes for the film. Rakesh Srinivas is going to direct the film. The film is expected to go on floors later this year.
