Vijay Deverakonda’s The Family Star hit the big screens last Friday amidst solid buzz but failed to meet the expectations. Now, fans of the Arjun Reddy actor have put their hopes on VD 12, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
A new buzz on social media suggests that the makers are planning to rope in Mamitha Baiju of Premalu as the female lead. On the other hand, Mr Bachchan’s heroine, Bhagyashree Borse, is also under consideration for the role. We need to wait and see who will get the chance to romance Vijay Deverakonda.
Sreeleela was the team’s initial choice for the heroine role, and she opted out of it for reasons unknown. VD 12, a spy thriller, is backed by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios presents the movie, with Anirudh Ravichander handling the musical composition.
