Soon, Netflix is set to remove two popular South Indian female-led films from its library. Interestingly, both films were released in 2019 with just a month’s gap, and now they are preparing to bid goodbye.
The films are Samantha’s Oh Baby and Taapsee’s Game Over. While Oh Baby won hearts with its entertaining fantasy comedy drama, Game Over impressed audiences with its gripping psychological thriller story.
Game Over will be the first to leave Netflix on August 12, 2026, while Oh Baby is scheduled to exit the platform on September 2, 2026. Not just the original versions, the dubbed versions of both films will also disappear from Netflix.
Whether the streaming giant will renew the licensing agreement remains unknown at the moment. If you are a fan of these female-led entertainers or have been planning to watch them, this is a timely reminder to catch them before they leave the platform.
