Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has turned out to be a massive blockbuster at the box office. The film received a strong response from audiences for its emotional content and performances. The movie has also crossed the Rs. 200 crore gross mark worldwide.

The makers recently celebrated the film’s success. During the event, actor Ajay Ghosh revealed an interesting detail about his role. Ajay Ghosh said that he was initially offered the MLA role, which is an important character in the film. However, after discussions with director Shiva Nirvana, the producers and Ravi Teja, he was offered another role.

The reason was simple. The makers felt that audiences might easily guess that Ajay Ghosh was the negative character if he played the MLA, based on the kind of roles he has played earlier. So, they decided to cast another actor as the MLA and gave Ajay Ghosh a different role.

The film stars Ravi Teja, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar, Swasika Vijay, and others. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by GV Prakash Kumar. Irumudi is now gearing up for its OTT release on Netflix.
