On the occasion of Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, Vyjayanthi Movies has announced their new project with the Malayalam star. Titled Lieutenant, the film will be directed by Hanu Raghvapudi.
Meanwhile, an interesting buzz circulating among film circles is that director Hanu had first approached hero Nani with the same script a few years back but somehow things did not fall into place and the project never materialized. News is also that by doing minor changes to the same script, Hanu got acceptance from Dulquer.
Lieutenant is the love story of an Indian Army Lieutenant named Ram. Vishal Chandrashekhar of Nani’s KVPG fame will compose the music. Swapna and Priyanka Dutt will be bankrolling the film.
