Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with the shoot of his next film, Rowdy Janardhana, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru fame. Also, Vijay has another film with Rahul Sankrityan, which will go on floors soon. The latest and interesting news is that Vijay Deverakonda couldn’t play the cameo in Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, which later went to Rana Daggubati.
Speaking in an interview, Sudha Kongara said, “When I saw the cameos in Jailer, I felt surprised as it was also my idea for Parasakthi. But the idea was beautiful in Jailer. For Parasakthi, it was very apt as we are involving language-based things in the pre-climax. I approached Vijay Deverakonda for Rana’s role, but he was busy in Kingdom shoot.”
Since Parasakthi ended up as a disappointing venture, it wasn’t a big miss for Vijay Deverakonda, as the cameo didn’t add any extra value to Rana Daggubati’s reputation either. However, Sudha Kongara’s statement is now going viral on social media.
