Manjummel Boys became Mollywood’s all-time biggest hit, surpassing 2018. Directed by Chidambaram, the movie features Soubin Shahir, Ganapathi, Khalid Rahman, and Sreenath Bhasi in lead roles. Recently, the film’s Telugu version was released in theatres.
Mythri Movie Makers presented the film in the Telugu states. The Telugu version also received a positive response from critics and audiences. According to the latest update, Manjummel Boys collected 10 crores gross in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and is continuing its successful run.
The absence of big releases in the coming days should further help Manjummel Boys. Set in 2006, the movie is based on the real-life experience of young men from a place called Manjummel who rescued their friend trapped in Kodaikanal’s Guna cave.
