Akkineni actor Sumanth played the lead role in the thriller film Kapatadhaari which was released in February 2021. The movie is the official remake of the Kannada film Kavaludaari and was directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. The movie didn’t perform as expected at the box office.
After its theatrical run, the movie made its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video, but it didn’t have its television premiere until now. Finally, two years after the movie’s release, it is set for its world television premiere on 18th February 2023 on Star Maa at 03:30 PM.
Nandita Swetha, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore, and Suman Ranganathan played crucial roles. Produced by G. Dhananjayan and Lalitha Dhananayan, the film’s music was composed by Simon K. King.
