Thug Life marks the collaboration of legends Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after many years. The project is carrying tremendous hype, but it is experiencing multiple delays due to Kamal’s political commitments. Several reports stated that Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan walked out of this project due to scheduling conflicts.

Simbu is said to be doing the role that was supposed to be played by Dulquer. Simbu is currently shooting for the film in Jaisalmer. The word is that Simbu’s inclusion in this prestigious project will be announced formally very shortly. Kamal Haasan will soon join the sets, and the makers are planning to release the film in 2025 Summer.

The movie also stars Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Gautham Karthik, and Nasser in pivotal roles. Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth are producing the biggie under the banners of Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies. Udhayanidhi Stalin is the presenter, and AR Rahman is composing the tunes.
