Small wonder Pellichoopulu took Tollywood by storm when it collected nearly 20 times its investment last year. The film’s remake rights were acquired by popular filmmakers down South and in Bollywood.
According to the latest update, Tamannaah has been roped in for Pellichoopulu’s Tamil remake. Tamannaah will play the role of a spirited and independent young lady’s role, beautifully portrayed by Ritu Varma in the Telugu original.
This remake will be produced by Gautham Menon and directed by Senthil Veerasamy. The movie’s unit is yet to find the right actor to reprise Vijay Deverakonda’s role.
