Leading Tamil film production house Sun Pictures is on a roll with the historic success of Rajinikanth’s Jailer. The film has grossed over Rs 600 crore in 25 days and is still going strong at the box office worldwide. Sun Pictures’ head Kalanidhi Maran recently surprised Rajini, Jailer’s director Nelson Dilipkumar and music composer Anirudh Ravichander by giving them additional remuneration and swanky new BMW X7 and Porsche cars.
And today, Sun Pictures’ heartwarming gesture has left everyone touched. The leading production house donated Rs 1 crore to one of India’s leading hospitals, Apollo Hospitals. The amount will facilitate heart surgeries for 100 under privileged children at Apollo. On behalf of Sun Pictures, Mrs. Kavery Kalanithi handed over the cheque for Rs.1 crore to Dr. Prathap Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals.
