The Hindi film, starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, was initially slated for release on June 5 but has now been pushed to June 12. The makers of the Varun Dhawan starrer stated that the industry will prosper only when filmmakers support each other instead of competing.
The makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai had indeed announced the release date long ago, but the unexpected developments made them reconsider their plans. Varun Dhawan’s father, David Dhawan, is directing the film, while Ramesh Taurani is producing it.
