Initially, trade estimates suggested that Yash’s PAN-India film Toxic would open around Rs. 100 crores globally. However, the film is defying projections by a huge margin as it is now charging towards a Rs. 100 crore opening in India alone.
All-India Day 1 advances have already crossed the Rs. 60 crore mark, and the figure is set to grow much bigger in the coming hours. Despite the bookings getting delayed, the Telugu version’s has surpassed the Rs. 10 crore mark.
