Yash-starrer Toxic opened to outright negative reviews. Critics felt that the execution and characterizations were poorly designed, resulting in a boring experience despite the excellent visuals.
The occupancies have come down sharply on IMAX screens, and hence, those shows are now being replaced by Christopher Nolan’s monstrous box-office blockbuster The Odyssey. Many IMAX screens have already started playing The Odyssey, and a few more will follow suit.
As a result, The Odyssey has once again started trending on BookMyShow. Also, a few of the non-premium screens in North India are being replaced by Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 where the occupancies of Toxic are not up to the mark.
