Toxic is one of the most expensive films in Rocking Star Yash’s career. He has teamed up with Geetu Mohandas for this action spectacle, and the recently released teaser gives a glimpse of just how intense and violent the film is set to be.
Expectations are sky-high among audiences and fans. However, a section of viewers has begun raising concerns about the film’s English version. For the unversed, Toxic was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, and the makers had earlier hinted at releasing both. While the latest teaser suggests that the English version is still on track, no release date was announced and no separate English teaser was rolled out, leaving fans puzzled.
The speculation only grew after the team began rolling out character posters. The recently unveiled poster of Akshay Oberoi carried no mention of the English version, adding fuel to the fire and prompting fresh questions online.
Many are now calling out the production house, asking what the point of shooting an English version was if it is not being released alongside the other languages. Some believe the makers may roll it out later, but fans feel a simple confirmation would clear the air.
For now, the team has remained tight-lipped. Meanwhile, reports doing the rounds suggest that the film’s first single will drop on February 28, 2026, though an official announcement is still awaited.
Joining the cast are Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and others in key roles. The film will be released in Telugu through Dil Raju.
