After a four-year wait following the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash returned with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film was one of the most awaited projects and went through multiple delays before its theatrical release. However, it failed to meet expectations and had a disappointing run at the box office.
Now, Toxic is back in the news with reports about its OTT release. According to reports, the film is likely to premiere on ZEE5 on September 25, 2026, in multiple languages, including Telugu. However, the makers and the streaming platform are yet to officially confirm the release date.
The film features an ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film has music by Ravi Basrur.
Since its theatrical run failed to meet expectations, Toxic could get another opportunity to reach audiences through OTT. It remains to be seen whether the film finds a better response on streaming.
