The shooting of Karthi’s much-anticipated sequel, Sardar 2, recently began at Prasad Labs in Chennai with the exciting addition of SJ Suryah to the cast. However, the atmosphere of anticipation quickly turned to sorrow.
During the filming of an action scene, stuntman Ezhumalai tragically fell from a 20-foot height and lost his life. The Virugambakkam police are currently investigating the incident, highlighting concerns over the lack of safety equipment during the stunt.
This sudden and tragic accident has deeply affected the entire production team, leading to an immediate suspension of filming. Directed by PS Mithran and produced by Prince Pictures, the film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
