One of the most popular actresses down south since more than a decade, Trisha denied the ongoing news about her joining the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa led AIADMK party. Clearing the air once and for all , Trisha tweeted, “Contrary to recent reports…NO I am not joining politics.Not now n not in the near future…I rest my case.”
Recently, several Tamil and Telugu media houses published stories about Trisha joining the political bandwagon, following her close ties with Jayalalithaa. Being a huge admirer of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Trisha had once put up her photograph with the CM on her Twitter page and it led to a series of rumors.
