Bollywood film Phule is based on the life stories of renowned social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. Directed by Ananth Mahadevan, the movie features Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa in the lead roles. Phule portrays the Phule couple’s relentless fight against caste discrimination and gender inequality in India, along with their immense contribution to women’s education and the protection of the rights of the underprivileged.
The Hindi film has been dubbed into Telugu under the same title. A special screening of the movie was now held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC President Bomma Mahesh Goud, along with several ministers and political leaders, attended the special screening.
Notably, all of them arrived at the venue in an RTC bus. The film is produced by noted journalist and columnist Ponnam Ravichandra. Following the special screening, the Honorable Chief Minister and other ministers will share their valuable views and opinions about the film.
