Ramayana, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, is being made on a mind-boggling budget of Rs. 4000 crores. Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the film will be released in two parts during Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.

In a recent interview with the Hollywood portal Collider, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that the combined running time of the two films will be 6 hours. Since Ramayana is a vast subject with multiple kandas, a few cinephiles expected the runtime of each part to exceed 3.5 hours.

However, as per the official confirmation, each installment will span about 3 hours, which is indeed surprising. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the movie also stars Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravie Dubey in pivotal roles.
