Varisu starring Thalapathy Vijay, is up for a grand Pongal 2023 release. This is a family entertainer and has Vamsi Paidipally as the director. On the other hand, Ajith is also ready with his Thunivu film directed by H. Vinoth, which is also slated for Pongal release. The scenario is crazy, as both top heroes are competing with each other after a while.
Actor, producer, and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin formally acquired the distribution rights of Ajith’s film through his Red Giant Films, and everyone was of the opinion that Thunivu would get more screens. He will be unofficially releasing Varisu as well.
In this regard, Udhayanidhi Stalin made some interesting comments about both films. Stalin said they could not give more screens to Thunivu alone and mentioned that the screens would be shared equally among the two biggies. He recalled that his production company released Valimai in three areas even though the name was not mentioned. It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious in this mega clash.
