Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is currently in UAE to attend the IIFA awards, where he will be felicitated with Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema Award for his immense Contribution to Indian Cinema.
As a part of his trip, he visited Firdous Orchestra in the Expo City Dubai and addressed the media. When one of the media officials asked about his views on The Kerala story, he stated that it was a propagandist film and that he was against it. He also opined that a story would not become true just because it is written as a true story at the bottom logo and stressed that it has to be really true.
These comments went viral within no time over the internet. The controversial film features Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balami, and Siddhi Idnani in lead roles and has collected over Rs.200 crores nett at the box office. It was directed by Sudipto Sen. On the work front, Kamal Haasan is busy with Indian 2, which is in the last leg of its production.
