After the release of Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s second single, Aura of Ustaad, Pawan Kalyan fans raised concerns about whether the film would feature references to his political career or the Jana Sena Party. Harish Shankar has now cleared the air on the political content.

He said, “Since the song is close to Pawan Garu’s personality, a few have raised interesting concerns about whether the film will have political satires or dialogues. No, there won’t be anything related to politics. From day one, Pawan Kalyan Garu told me that the film should be treated purely as cinema and not mixed with politics. He clearly instructed me not to include anything that could remotely hurt anyone. We haven’t targeted any individual or political party.”

Harish Shankar added, “That’s why he acted with Prakash Raj Garu in OG and Vakeel Saab despite having political differences with him. Including such references would defeat the very purpose of the film, which is to entertain. Pawan Garu has fans across all political parties. I’m glad that fans themselves are asking me not to include political elements. They are true followers of Kalyan Garu. I’m thrilled. Everyone can come and enjoy Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
