For the last couple of months, 23 descendants of the first Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy have been protesting against Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. The protestors alleged that Sye Raa’s producer Charan didn’t keep his promise of paying them certain amount of money for making a film on their legendary ancestor. After a series of protests in front of Konidela Productions office, the descendants even filed police complaints against Chiru and Charan.
But today, all the protesting members of the Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy family have withdrawn their complaints against Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. The protestors also clarified that they never demanded Charan to pay Rs 2 crores to each family but only asked for Rs 15 lakh per family of the 23 Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy descendants.
