Vaazha 2 is the latest blockbuster from Malayalam cinema, having earned over Rs. 150 crores and now inching towards the Rs. 200 crore mark. Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V played the lead roles in the film.
Amid its sensational theatrical run, the latest reports suggest that Vaazha 2 might have its OTT premiere four to six weeks after its theatrical release, a usual pattern now being followed by Mollywood films. Sometime in May, the movie might make its digital debut.
Jio Hotstar, which is already streaming the first film, is expected to have bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights for Vaazha 2 as well. An official confirmation is awaited. The film is produced by Imagin Cinemas, WBTS Productions, Shine Screens, Signature Studios, and Icon Studios.
