Two days back, we had revealed that the shoot of Valmiki will happen in Anantapur district. From yesterday, the shoot was on but the latest we hear is that the filming was halted today by a group of locals.
The reason for this is not known yet but the shoot was stalled for the day. Valmiki is directed by Harish Shankar and has Varun Tej in a lead role.
The film is the remake of the super hit Tamil film Jigarthanda. Tamil actor, Atharva is making his Telugu debut with this film.
