After the striking pre-teaser which showcased Varun Tej’s menacing villain avatar, the makers of Valmiki are all set to launch the film’s teaser on August 15, as an Independence Day treat. Valmiki is an official remake of the acclaimed Tamil gangster comedy, Jigarthanda.
Valmiki’s shoot is nearing completion. The film also features Pooja Hegde and Tamil hero Atharvaa Murali in lead roles. Mrunalini Ravi and Dimple Hatati will be seen in special cameos. Valmiki is slated for release on September 13. Raam and Gopi Achanta are bankrolling the movie and Mickey J Meyer is the music composer.
