Maverick genius Ram Gopal Varma’s latest political faction drama, Vangaveeti, an intense biopic based on the life of slain Vijayawada politician Vangaveeti Ranga, hit the screens today amid a huge buzz and numerous controversies.
As expected, the film kicked off minor controversies thanks to its unabated depiction of erstwhile Bezawada politics. Soon after watching the film, Vangaveeti Ranga’s son Vangaveeti Radha met with Vijayawada DGP Sambasivarao and lodged a complaint against RGV alleging that RGV has not considered his suggestions to alter his father’s characterisation in the movie.
Radha further demanded that all the objectionable scenes in the movie should be deleted at the earliest. Vangaveeti is produced by Kiran Kumar Dasari.
