Varanasi is Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s ambitious globe trotting action adventure, with Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran playing key roles. Slated for release on April 7, 2027, the film is back in the spotlight after Priyanka shared a major update.
Taking to Instagram, Priyanka posted a picture with the caption, “Varanasi, here we go!”, confirming that she has joined the latest shooting schedule. The update comes shortly after the Hyderabad schedule was reportedly halted due to water shortage issues.
