Ace director SS Rajamouli has officially announced the release date of his much-awaited film Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu, as April 7, 2027.

While the announcement has excited fans, it has also raised a few doubts. Rajamouli is known for changing release dates in the past, with several of his earlier films facing multiple postponements.

This time, the scale of Varanasi is massive, with heavy VFX work and a big background score playing a crucial role. Because of the technical complexity, fans and industry insiders are not fully convinced that the film will arrive on time and the same is being posted on social media.

Still, expectations remain sky-high, and many are curious to see whether Rajamouli will stick to the announced date and prove everyone wrong with this ambitious project.
