Varun Dhawan was last seen in the creature comedy thriller Bhediya. Charming beauty Kriti Sanon played the leading lady. The film was also released in Telugu and Tamil languages. Amar Kaushik directed this flick which had a humongous number of VFX shots.
Despite receiving good reviews, Drishyam 2 wave in Bollywood resulted in a dent for Bhediya at the ticket windows. Though five months elapsed since the film’s release, it is yet to arrive on OTT. The latest buzz is that the film will be available for streaming from May 26 on Jio Cinema. However, the official confirmation is yet to come.
Produced by Dinesh Vijayan under Maddock Films, the film also has Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak in crucial roles. Recently, the makers announced Bhediya 2, which will go on floors soon. Bhediya 2 releases in 2025.
