It is well-known that Bollywood star Varun Dhawan’s film, Coolie No:1 had a direct OTT release on the noted digital platform, Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Varun Dhawan’s father David Dhawan, the film had Sara Ali Khan as the female lead.
Meanwhile, the latest news circulating among Hindi media is that Varun Dhawan was given a fat pay cheque of ₹25 crores as his remuneration for the film. Though Coolie No:1 is produced under Varun Dhawan’s home production, the above amount was given as a percent share out of profits.
Now, this news has become a hot topic among Bollywood circles and the trade market.
