Mega Prince Varun Tej-starrer Ghani which was released last Friday with huge expectations failed at the box office. Directed by the debutant Kiran Korrapati, the movie ended up as a disaster.
Varun Tej, who puts sweat, blood and tears into Ghani has opened up about it today. He took to his social media profiles and penned an emotional note about the result of the movie.
He wrote, “I’m extremely humbled by all the love and affection you have showered upon me all these years. I thank each and everyone who were involved in the making of “GHANI”. You’ve put your heart and soul. And I’m really thankful for that, especially to my Producers.”
“We worked with real passion and hardwork to deliver a good film to you and somehow the ideation didn’t translate like we thought it would. Everytime I work on a film, my soul purpose is to entertain you. Sometimes I succeed & sometimes I learn, but I will never stop working hard. Thank you!” concluded the actor.
Produced by Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda, the movie has Saiee Manjrekar, Upendra, Nadiya, Jagapathi Babu, Suniel Shetty and others in key roles. Thaman has composed music for this sports drama.
