Victory Venkatesh is all set to act in a ‘mookie’ cinema, like Kamal Haasan’s evergreen classic ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’. Though some information has been floating around about this project for a while, director G.Ashok confirmed it officially today.
The veteran director, who made ‘Pilla Zamindar’ with Nani, will direct this film and D. Suresh Babu will be the producer. “I have narrated the story to Venkatesh and he has okayed it. Suresh Babu will be producing this film on the Suresh Productions banner. The banner is now into its 50th year and I feel honoured to be a part of this prestigious project “, said director Ashok in Chennai.
Venkatesh is giving more importance to character variations at this stage of his career and sources say that he is more willing than ever before to experiment. This surely is a welcome sign and we can expect some exciting work from Victory Venkatesh over the next few years.
