Director Venky Atluri has opened up about the relationship dynamic between Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s characters in Vishwanath & Sons.
Addressing the age-gap aspect in the film, Venky said he consciously avoided presenting it as a comedy track or an inappropriate affair, as is often seen in cinema.
Venky explained that Mamitha’s character admires Suriya’s character and looks up to him, but there is no obsession involved. He added that the bond between the two characters is rooted in respect rather than romance.
Venky further stated that Suriya’s character behaves responsibly throughout the narrative and never disrespects Mamitha’s character. The film releases on August 14.
