Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s multi-starrer, Venky Mama, released nearly 2 weeks ago. Fans and family audiences lapped up the film big-time and the film has been collecting solid shares since day one. And the latest update is that Venky Mama has emerged a profitable venture for its makers in almost all the areas in the twin Telugu states.

Venky Mama had done a worldwide pre-release business of nearly Rs 36 crores. The makers released Venky Mama on their own in most areas and the film had a decent outing on the Christmas Eve and Christmas. As a result, the film has broken even yesterday itself.

With only Prati Roju Pandaage doing well at the box-office amid other recent releases, Venky Mama will be having a steady run at the ticket counters until the Sankranthi festive biggies hit screens and will earn decent shares till January second week.

This Bobby directorial has Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput as the female leads. Suresh Babu and TG Vishwaprasad have jointly produced the movie and Thaman has composed the soundtrack.
