Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi recently impressed audiences with Baththa. Up next, he will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s romantic drama Inji Vellam. The movie’s shooting was wrapped up recently, and it features Sai Pallavi as the female lead.
According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi is said to have charged only half of his remuneration as a mark of respect for the legendary director. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi charges Rs. 15 crores per film, but he has made an exception for Inji Vellam.
The film is gearing up for a Pongal 2027 release. Apart from this, Vijay Sethupathi also has Slum Dog in his pipeline. The emotional action drama directed by Puri Jagannaadh has also completed shooting sometime back.
