Victory Venkatesh admires cricket immensely, and whenever possible, he cheers for our “Men in Blue” by attending matches. Recently, the actor attended the ODI World Cup semi-final and final matches. But sadly, the final match didn’t go our way, disappointing many. A few started writing off the players, too, as they couldn’t digest the loss.
Venkatesh came out in support of our Indian team during a song launch event of his upcoming flick Saindhav. Venkatesh said that our players gave their best and reminded everyone that India only lost one match in the entire tournament.
Venkatesh said, “Team India played fantastic cricket in these two months. We have the best cricketers in our team. We are proud of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shami, Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, and the entire team. Thank you for entertaining us. We have got your back always. I am sure we will lift the next World Cup.”
