Viduthalai Part 1 gets its OTT release date; OTT version to have Director’s cut

Star director Vetrimaaran scored yet another superhit in his career with his recent film Viduthalai Part 1. This is a period crime thriller and has Soori in the lead role. A couple of days back, we informed that the movie might arrive on OTT on 28th April.

Today the film’s official digital partner ZEE5 has given the confirmation that the film will be available for streaming from tomorrow. The best part is that the OTT audiences can enjoy the extended version of the Director’s cut.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi played a key role, and he will be getting more prominence in part 2 of the movie, which also releases this year. Bankrolled by Elred Kumar under the banners of RS Infotainment and Grass Root Film Company, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja composed the tunes for this period crime thriller.

Bhavani Sre played the leading lady. Gautam Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Ilavarasu played other key roles. However, there is no update about the OTT premiere of Viduthalai’s Telugu version Vidudhala.
