Vijay Sethupathi has revealed why he no longer wants to do cameo roles in films. Speaking about the issue, the actor said that whenever he appears in a guest role, the makers often promote the movie as if he is playing the lead. This creates confusion among audiences and also affects the expectations for his own films.
Because of this, Vijay Sethupathi says he decided to stop accepting cameo offers and focus only on full-length roles. However, he made an exception for Jailer 2.
Vijay said he agreed to be part of the film only because it stars superstar Rajinikanth. He added that working with Rajinikanth is always special and he could not say no to the opportunity.
On the career front, Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with a new film directed by Mani Ratnam. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in the project.
